Today’s update to the Food Facts for Healthy Eating website are two new pages where we begin to talk about Low Carbohydrate & Ketosis diets for weight loss. These new pages are Healthy Eating – Low Carb/Ketosis Introduction and How Your Body Processes Food.
In the Introduction we talk about the topics we are going to cover in the Healthy Eating section and touch on the benefits of low carbohydrate diets and Ketosis for weight loss. For those who are unsure of how Low Carbohydrate diets or Ketosis works, I have a separate page where we go into detail on how our bodies manufacture energy from the foods we eat and explain how the body burns fat stores when we are in Ketosis.
