As a snack idea, this one is delicious and super quick to make. Steamed Edamame Beans are fantastic. Edamame or Soy Beans are great to keep on hand in the freezer. Easy to cook, just boil for about 4 minutes until tender and serve with a sprinkle of freshly ground sea salt. With around 5g of carbohydrate in every 100g of whole cooked beans, they are high in protein (12.4g/100g) and very filling. When I cooked 200g of the product below I had 75g of actual shelled beans.
Freshly cooked soybeans are delicious. Kids love these beans as they are very hands on to eat. They are also a great way of getting some extra salt when your going through Keto flu. Just pop out the beans from their skins and enjoy. !!!!
